Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible, in its original manuscripts, to be the inspired, infallible, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. Scripture is the final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—one in essence, equal in deity, and distinct in person.

We believe in the full deity and humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His miracles; His substitutionary and atoning death through the shedding of His blood; His bodily resurrection from the dead; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that all people are sinners, spiritually dead in sin, separated from God, and accountable before Him. Salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone and is entirely the work of God’s grace. Through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit, God gives new life to the sinner, enabling repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ. All who repent and believe in Christ are justified by grace through faith, reconciled to God, adopted into His family, and receive eternal life.

We believe in the present and active ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells every believer, assures believers of their adoption in Christ, produces spiritual fruit, empowers the Church for witness and ministry, gives spiritual gifts for the building up of the body of Christ, and enables followers of Jesus Christ to grow in holiness and obedience to God.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost: those who belong to Christ unto eternal life in the presence of God, and those who remain separated from Christ unto final judgment and eternal punishment.

We believe in the spiritual unity of all true believers in Jesus Christ. Every person who belongs to Christ is a member of His body, the Church, of which Jesus Christ is the Head.

We believe that every follower of Jesus Christ is called to participate in the Great Commission by proclaiming the gospel, making disciples, teaching obedience to Christ, and bearing witness to Him locally and among the nations.

We believe followers of Jesus Christ are called to lives of prayer, holiness, love, obedience, service, and surrender to the lordship of Christ. We seek to love God with all that we are, love our neighbors as ourselves, care for those in need, overcome evil with good, and faithfully proclaim the gospel.

We believe every human life is created by God, bears inherent dignity and value, and is sacred from conception to natural death. Therefore, followers of Christ are called to demonstrate compassion and concern for both the spiritual and physical needs of others.
